Chinatown
After visiting, the Family and Granny went to Lower Peirce Reservoir 'cause I felt like feeding monkeys. Whoever said there were monkeys there -.- Before that I even went to the petrol kiosk to get ice-cream and peanuts for monkeys, which we ended up eating ourselves, what the hell hahaha. But it was still nice to get into contact with so much greenery at the park.
I saw some people fishing/ catching fish at the reservoir, aaah so fun. I WANT TO FISH. The last time I fished was donkey years ago, at the East Coast Jetty or something. Went with the maternal relatives and it was damn fun. I remember we pitched a tent there and everyone cooped inside and then Aunt Lillian farted, HELL STINKY. I disected a fish too. OK whatever if we go now the feeling won't be the same.
I suddenly felt damn cultural 'cause yesterday was Deepavali so after that we went to Chinatown!
I love Mummy, 'cause she was Da Driver of the Day and she brought us to wherever I wanted to. We walked around pretty aimlessly. There were quite a lot of Indians at Chinatown today I don't know why. Walked past this really overcrowded-with-shops street and I overheard two Chinese shopkeepers talking. One of them was saying in dialect like, 'These Indians no money one.'. I think she doesn't even bother attending to them. What the hell? Customer service is not about serving people who look rich only man, shallow shopkeepers. And they were conversing so loudly in Mandarin okay. What if there was an Indian who knew dialect?! I bet all racial riots started from these insensitive people. I feel so multi-racial righteous today. Yeah, basically it was just sight-seeing at Chinatown, I really felt like a tourist today. It was enjoyable though I only got some apparels from OG and a Chinese-oriental set of purses to share with my sister. We saw a A.P rock band! (Ah Peh) Quite cool 'cause the uncle playing the harmonica has stylo red hair.
Then later we went to Marina Bay for kite-flying! Bought two kites from the shop- one normal plain kite and one with Ultraman on it -.- Mummy bought those ugly kites 'cause they were cheap, hahaha. And she was telling me that it's not about how beautiful the kite is, but how you fly it. Sad to say, but there wasn't any wind so none of our kites flew more than a minute. I flew the kite successfully for about 15 seconds and got myself all tangled up, damn irritating. So much energy spent on running like mad trying to keep the kite up in the air and untangling myself from the string. I have a string cut (whatever you call it) on my leg, heh. Still, kite-flying is a great exercise.
We dropped by at Expo. Saw this really huge calculator! -.-
Then went to Tampines for dinner and Aunt Grace's house. Mummy had some documents for Aunt Grace to sign so yeah, we sat there for a while. Came back after sending Granny home.
There is school tomorrow just because we have some Introduction to Choral Speaking rubbish early in the morning after assembly and OBS check-up till near 4PM. And in between these two we have six hours with totally nothing to do? I could just not sleep today and hibernate in school tomorrow.
I wish that everyone will be happy tomorrow :D
